How to Make Luxurious Bath Salts – A Simple DIY for Relaxation
At RoandMe, we love creating simple, natural self-care rituals, and one of our favorites is making our own soothing bath salts. Infused with Himalayan pink salt, Epsom salt, lavender and orange essential oils, and dried flowers, this blend is perfect for unwinding after a long day. Not only does it smell amazing, but it also helps soothe sore muscles, detoxify the skin, and promote relaxation.
What You’ll Need:
• 1 cup Himalayan pink salt – Rich in minerals, it helps detoxify and soften the skin.
• 1 cup Epsom salt – Eases muscle tension and promotes relaxation.
• 10 drops lavender essential oil – Calming and perfect for winding down.
• 10 drops orange essential oil – Uplifting and bright, balancing the floral notes.
• ¼ cup dried flowers (lavender, rose petals, or calendula) – Adds beauty and a touch of nature to your bath.
How to Make It:
1. Mix the salts – In a large bowl, combine the Himalayan pink salt and Epsom salt, stirring well.
2. Add essential oils – Drop in the lavender and orange essential oils, then mix thoroughly to distribute the fragrance evenly.
3. Incorporate dried flowers – Gently fold in the dried flowers, giving your bath salts a natural, spa-like feel.
4. Store and enjoy – Transfer the mixture to an airtight jar and let it sit for 24 hours to allow the scents to meld. Use about ¼ cup per bath and soak in the relaxation!
This bath salt blend makes a beautiful gift or a lovely addition to your own self-care routine. Try it out and let us know how you like it!
